The number 390 pages homage to the V8 engine from the original fastback pony car, boasting a displacement of 6.4 liters, or 390 cubic inches, and generating a power of 320 horsepower at that time. The dial, the single-hand 240 retrograde showing the minutes, and the jumping hours in a window at 6 and the power reserve are not just mechanisms of time but symbols of freedom: a nod to the first car of a young generation of Americans from the sixties for a bold trip on the legendary US highways.
