Casio Collection Quartz Men's Watch MTD-1079D-1AVEF The Case: The case of this striking Casio Collection Quartz Men's Watch MTD-1079D-1AVEF is crafted from stainless steel. The stainless steel surfaces have been finished using a brushing technique. A black ion plated anti-reverse bezel sits on top of the case, providing classic diving functionality. The indented edges of the bezel allow for easy rotation. A screw down crown is present beside the 3 oclock marker, it is protected by a crown guard. A push button is located above the crown. Scratch resistant mineral glass that sits on top of the case to preserve the beauty of this model. On the flip side there is a screw down case back which optimally protects the inner workings of the watch and simultaneously provides easy access, when changing the battery for example. The Dial: The black dial makes use of many typical dive watch traits. For example, the large hour markers have been filled with neobrite to allow for visibility in areas of low light. The enlarged partly hollowed out handset have also been half filled with neobrite too. A striking pointed red seconds hand stands out clearly against the black dial. A day date window replaces the 3 oclock marker. It can be illuminated through use of super illuminator which can be activated at the touch of a button. The Bracelet: The bold silver bracelet is made from stainless steel. It is tough, durable and elegant. It features adjustable fastening, which means the clasp can be individually adjusted extremely easily for maximum comfort. The clasp has been embossed with the Casio logo. The Functions: This quartz powered timepiece has a battery life of three years when fully charged, while offering an accuracy of +/-20 seconds a month.
